The Playmate accessory connects to Fluffer over Bluetooth, just like any other device. Once connected, you pair it to your primary device inside the app to enable haptic relay and Gaming Mode.
Power on the Playmate
Open the Devices tab in Fluffer
Tap Scan
The Playmate appears in the device list — tap it to connect
After the Playmate is connected:
Tap the Playmate in your device list
Tap Pair with device
Select your primary Motorbunny or Fluffer device from the list
The Playmate is now paired
Plug your USB-C game controller into the Playmate's USB-C dongle
The controller is now linked to the Playmate
Pairing links the Playmate to your primary device so haptic relay signals from the game controller are forwarded to that device. Gaming Mode uses the Playmate's IMU (accelerometer) to drive the paired device via tilt input.
To unpair the Playmate, tap it in the Devices tab and select Unpair. The Playmate remains connected but stops forwarding haptic signals to the previously paired device.
The Playmate itself does not vibrate or output any sensation — it only relays signals. All output goes to the paired device(s).
