Occasionally, a Fluffer update is required before you can continue using the app. When this happens, a full-screen notice appears when you open Fluffer.
A full-screen message explains that this version of the app is no longer supported and a newer version is available. The screen includes a direct link to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the update.
You cannot proceed to the main app until the update is installed.
Force updates happen when a new version of Fluffer includes changes that are not compatible with older app versions — typically updates to device communication protocols, security requirements, or infrastructure changes that require all users to be on the same version.
Tap the Update Now button on the force update screen. This opens the App Store or Google Play directly to the Fluffer update page. Install the update and reopen the app — the force update screen will not appear again once you are on a supported version.
App updates roll out gradually and may take a few hours to appear in your region. If the update is not yet available:
Check back in a few hours
Search for "Fluffer" in the App Store or Google Play directly to see if a newer version is available
Make sure automatic app updates are enabled on your device so you receive Fluffer updates as soon as they are available and avoid unexpected interruptions.
