If Fluffer shows your device as connected but you do not feel any motor output, check the following.
On the Controller screen, look at the motor toggle buttons. Both vibration and rotation motors have separate toggles. If either is off, that motor will not respond even when the joystick is active. Tap the toggle to turn the motor on.
Go to Profile → Device Preferences → Max Power Level. If this is set to 0 or a very low number, the device's output ceiling is near zero and you will feel nothing even at full joystick. Raise the setting and try again.
The joystick must be actively dragged away from center to send output. Resting at center sends zero intensity. Try dragging the joystick toward the outer ring to confirm output is being sent.
Some modes override the joystick. If Music Mode or Pattern Playback is active, the joystick may not have direct control. Stop the active mode and switch to manual control.
Power off the device, wait 10 seconds, power it back on, and reconnect via the Devices tab. This clears any stuck state on the device firmware.
If the device battery is critically low, it may connect but refuse to run motors. Charge the device and try again.
The easiest quick check is motor toggles and Max Power Level — these are the two most common reasons a connected device does not respond.
